Christopher Kostyn Passante is completing an MFA in Creative Writing at Drexel University. He holds degrees from Clarion, Wesley, and Plattsburgh State universities and is an Orion Environmental Writers’ Workshop alumnus. He was a 2025 finalist for the Tobias Wolff Award, and his short stories can be found in the Bellingham Review and The Ravens Perch. A former journalist and author of two nonfiction books, he lives in State College, Pennsylvania, where he draws inspiration from long walks among the Allegheny Mountains with Hiker and Sunshine, his wily Australian shepherds.
